The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knocks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knocks wants it to stay on the feet.

Ladeia gets a takedown into half guard.
Ladeia tries to pass to full mount but Knocks defends it.

Ladeia is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ladeia wants to free his trapped foot but Knocks is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Knocks is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ladeia is working hard here to advance position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Knocks tries a head kick but it misses.
Ladeia avoids a kick to the body.
Knocks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ladeia. That did some damage!

Knocks lands a big head kick that sends Ladeia tumbling to the mat! Knocks takes a step backwards and waves Ladeia back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jose Ladeia has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knocks throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ladeia is breathing heavily.
Knocks throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Ladeia crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
