PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tero Taikina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aslambek Saidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Taikina might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cookie song. Saidov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by kavkaz eta sila . This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taikina rushes Saidov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Saidov is trying to drag Taikina to the mat but Taikina just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Taikina gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Saidov is pressed up against the cage. Taikina has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Saidov down to the mat. Saidov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Saidov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Taikina tries to avoid it but Saidov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Taikina to the ground. Taikina escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Saidov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tero Taikina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aslambek Saidov.

Taikina tightens his grip and picks Saidov up, before dumping him to the ground. Saidov manages to land in guard.
Taikina stays in close to Saidov's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Taikina is sitting in close to Saidov's body. Saidov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Taikina is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Taikina is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Saidov.
