Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Persson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fer Jimenez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimenez has chosen Rock Superstar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fer Jimenez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jimenez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jimenez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Persson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jimenez as he jumps to the side.
Persson shoots in and drives through. Jimenez sprawls well.

Persson shoots in for a takedown but Jimenez shows good takedown defense.
Jimenez throws a leg kick but Persson checks it.

Jimenez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jimenez wants it to stay on the feet.

Persson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Jimenez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Persson on the side of the head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Persson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Persson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jimenez has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Persson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Persson is rocked!
Jimenez cracks Persson with a left hook right on the temple and Persson goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Jimenez lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Persson is OK!
