The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pride throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gay Pride seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diggsby chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pride can pounce on him.
Diggsby lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Pride looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pride is controlling the pace.
Pride looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Diggsby with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pride fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Diggsby.

and Diggsby counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Diggsby is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

and Diggsby cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Pride feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Diggsby's calf.

Well Pride has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
