Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Acacio Kelsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manolo do Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Acacio Kelsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manolo do Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiu Jitsu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kelsen is fending him off so far but Jiu Jitsu persists. Nope, Kelsen circles away and we're back to standing.
Kelsen misses with a head kick.
Kelsen is looking to clinch but Jiu Jitsu is avoiding it.
Kelsen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kelsen really is a fat lump.
Jiu Jitsu blocks a head kick by Kelsen.
Kelsen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jiu Jitsu avoids a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kelsen feints and then cracks Jiu Jitsu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jiu Jitsu down.

Jiu Jitsu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kelsen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kelsen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jiu Jitsu is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jiu Jitsu stops Kelsen from standing up.
Kelsen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kelsen keeping full guard, as Jiu Jitsu tries to pass.
Jiu Jitsu is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Kelsen controls Jiu Jitsu momentarily but Jiu Jitsu frees himself.
Kelsen looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kelsen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kelsen stuffs the takedown.
Kelsen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Jiu Jitsu decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kelsen's guard.
Kelsen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jiu Jitsu might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kelsen kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kelsen pulls Jiu Jitsu in close to prevent any damage.

Jiu Jitsu trying to control the position from guard on top but Kelsen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kelsen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kelsen is trying to keep Jiu Jitsu in close.
Kelsen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kelsen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Jiu Jitsu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kelsen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jiu Jitsu has Kelsen in his guard.
Jiu Jitsu looks gassed!
Kelsen landing with the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Manolo do Jiu Jitsu will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Jiu Jitsu with a lazy takedown attempt

and Kelsen counters with a shoot takedown. Jiu Jitsu fights it but they end up in guard.
Kelsen lands a couple of elbows.

Jiu Jitsu looking for a triangle here. Kelsen is fighting it but it looks tight! Jiu Jitsu pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kelsen is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Manolo do Jiu Jitsu!
