The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crockett moves in looking to clinch but Dowd pushes him off.

Dowd shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crockett's guard.

Crockett wants to stand and escape but Dowd is having none of it.
Dowd passes Crockett's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Dowd frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Dowd is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Crockett can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dowd cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
