The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kujansuu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Apila's corner calls for a 1-2. Apila obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Apila lands a left and a right that send Kujansuu crashing to the mat, dazed. Apila thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kujansuu is rocked!

Kujansuu is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Apila's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kujansuu.
Apila lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Kujansuu can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Apila and Kujansuu drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Apila.
