The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nogueira is defended easily by Pounder.
Pounder lands a jab to Nogueira's midsection.
Nogueira shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pounder stuffs the takedown.
Jim Pounder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Minotauro Nogueira.
Pounder lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nogueira at a distance.

Nogueira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
