Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stevie Franchise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Blick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franchise comes to the cage accompanied by I Don't Like Mondays- The Boomtown Rats. Johan Blick has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Stevie Franchise's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stevie Franchise!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johan Blick!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blick tries to clinch up.
Franchise misses with a hook. Blick ducked under it nicely.
Franchise looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blick is fending him off so far but Franchise persists. Nope, Blick circles away and we're back to standing.
Franchise throws a looping overhand right but Blick ducks down to avoid it.

Blick avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Blick tries to clinch up but Franchise circles away and keeps his distance.
Blick shoots for a takedown but Franchise saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Franchise stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Franchise postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Blick is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Franchise, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Franchise escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Franchise is trying to control the position but Blick postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blick pushes down on Franchise's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Well Blick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
