The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esau keeps the fight on the outside.

Anathema has taken the fight to the clinch.
Anathema blocking some punches.
Esau being controlled against the cage.
Anathema fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Anathema lands an elbow that stopped Esau in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Jacob Esau has been cut.

Anathema manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anathema had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Esau defends it easily.
Esau wants to control from the top but Anathema keeps moving.

Anathema escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Esau gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Anathema has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Esau can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Anathema has his foot on Esau's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Esau works his way back into a safe position though.
Esau controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Anathema pushes a forearm under Esau's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Esau is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
