PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Crack Corn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Uri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crack Corn comes to the cage accompanied by Jimmy cracks heads and he dont care. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Crack Corn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Uri!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uri drives through with a takedown into guard.

Crack Corn is looking for a triangle but Uri pushes his legs off easily.
Uri advances position into side control!

Uri is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crack Corn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Uri passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Crack Corn!

Uri swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Crack Corn is now in Uri's guard. A big mistake from Uri there, giving up the dominant position!

Crack Corn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Uri wants to sweep but no luck.

Uri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crack Corn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
