The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power looks to land a right hand but Rocha Jr moved out of range.
Power throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rocha Jr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Power.
Power rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rocha Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Power throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Power shoots in and drives through. Rocha Jr sprawls well.
Power tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rocha Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Power is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Power tries to clinch but Rocha Jr moves out of range.
Rocha Jr slaps away a takedown attempt from Power, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Power misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Marcelo Rocha Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Power.
Power throws a series of punches but Rocha Jr avoids them all with ease.
Power looks gassed!

Rocha Jr moves into the clinch.

Rocha Jr has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Power uses from the top position.

Rocha Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Power can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Power stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Rocha Jr has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Power manages to get his head free but now Rocha Jr has transitioned to an armbar! Power grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Rocha Jr! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
