The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demidov misses with a straight right.
Demidov uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Leonidus Cesar has been cut.
Demidov scores with a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cesar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Demidov but Demidov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Demidov drops Cesar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cesar looks back up at him and smiles so Demidov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Cesar looks gassed!
Demidov lands a nice hook to Cesar's body. Cesar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Demidov is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cesar flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cesar is out cold! Demidov holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
