The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Didier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bapp tries to avoid it but Didier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bapp to the ground. Bapp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Some wild striking there from Didier.
Bapp fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Didier on the side of the head.
Duke Didier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Didier is breathing heavily.

Bapp throws a leg kick but Didier moved away.
Bapp displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Didier tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bapp swivels and escapes.
Bapp throws a chopping leg kick but Didier manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bapp is looking to land body kicks.
Bapp throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Didier on the side of the head.

Bapp throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Didier was covering up waiting for the punch and Bapp finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bapp stays in close to Didier's body and controls the position.
Bapp wanted to stand there but Didier had control of the position.

Bapp stands up from Didier's guard - Bapp perhaps looking for a knockout.

Bapp lands a really nice looking cross but Didier seems unphased.
Bapp looks to land a combination. Didier sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Bapp closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Bapp connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Didier momentarily.

Didier is rocked!
Bapp cracks Didier with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Didier tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bapp pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Didier is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
