Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pedro Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, shario mikn!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mikn lands a nice hook to Cruz's body. Cruz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
mikn closes the distance and clinches up with Cruz, looking for a takedown. mikn pushes Cruz against the cage but Cruz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
mikn getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Nice sprawl there from Cruz as mikn shoots in.

Cruz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cruz lands in his opponent's guard.
Cruz wants to control from the top but mikn keeps moving.

mikn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cruz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cruz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cruz is pushing down on mikn's leg trying to pass to half guard. mikn is fighting to maintain full guard but Cruz has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cruz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cruz slips a nice elbow through mikn's hands, connecting with mikn's forehead.

Cruz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. mikn looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cruz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. mikn is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cruz lets go of the hold and mikn can pop his arm back in it's socket.
