Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kors Svardet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Semanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kors Svardet has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kors Svardet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Semanov!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svardet feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Semanov's calf.

Svardet gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Semanov postures up in Svardet's guard and throws a big left but Svardet blocks it.
Semanov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Svardet works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Svardet is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Semanov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ivan Semanov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Svardet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Semanov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Semanov shoots in but Svardet avoids the takedown attempt easily.
