Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bad decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bad scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Volkhov tries to get to full guard but Bad has control of the leg.
Bad lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Bad scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Volkhov wants to get back to full guard.

Volkhov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bad looks a forlorn figure.

Volkhov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Volkhov is pushing down on Bad's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bad is fighting to maintain full guard but Volkhov has managed to sneak the leg through.
Volkhov winds up and cracks Bad with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Volkhov thows a huge punch but Bad dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A nice leg kick lands there from Bad.

Bad takes the fight into the clinch.
Volkhov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bad.

Volkhov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bad smiles and moves away.
Bad stuns Volkhov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Bad counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Bad throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Volkhov was covering up waiting for the punch and Bad finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bad accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Volkhov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bad passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Volkhov regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bad's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Volkhov is in trouble now - Bad has advanced to mount!
Johnny Bad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Volkhov is breathing heavily.
Bad looking to control but Volkhov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Bad breaks from Volkhov's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Volkhov is bucking up trying to escape but Bad cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Bad looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Volkhov covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
