Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St Perrie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gerker Gerk!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Perrie shoots in for a takedown but Gerk shows good takedown defense.
St Perrie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Gerk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with St Perrie but St Perrie pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gerk tries to lock up and control but St Perrie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gerk might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control St Perrie kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
St Perrie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
St Perrie wants to control the pace but Gerk is squirming around nicely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gerk can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gerk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. St Perrie just stands there and leans against the cage.

St Perrie drops back looking for a leg! Gerk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gerk manages to kick St Perrie off! St Perrie jumps back into Gerk's guard.

Gerk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. St Perrie sprawls well initially but Gerk persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
St Perrie wants to control but Gerk is keeping busy.

St Perrie is staying active underneath Gerk, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
St Perrie is looking for a sweep. Gerk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Gerk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has St Perrie pinned against the cage. St Perrie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

St Perrie gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gerk tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. St Perrie smiles and moves away.

George St Perrie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

George St Perrie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gerk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as St Perrie sprawls well. St Perrie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gerk gets slowly back to his feet.
