Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Stone!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Valdo throws a combination. Stone tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Matt Stone has been cut.
Matt Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone throws a series of punches but Valdo moves out of range.
Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Valdo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Stone gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Stone takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Valdo looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
A jab from Valdo finds it's way through Stone's defenses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stone walks into a straight right hand from Valdo.
Stone throws a combination that misses
enabling Valdo to counter with a crisp jab.
Stone is rocked!
Valdo cracks Stone with a hook to the temple - Stone is on wobbly legs here! Valdo swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Stone falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Valdo wins by TKO!
