Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Petrovolinksi Kotoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian The Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotoski comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse. The Fury has chosen Eminem - White America as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Julian The Fury is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Petrovolinksi Kotoski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julian The Fury!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Fury shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kotoski as he avoids it easily.

Kotoski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kotoski working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The Fury can't do much from the bottom here.
The Fury is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kotoski is controlling him well.

Kotoski is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, The Fury has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Fury is trying to control Kotoski's posture but Kotoski avoids it.
The Fury tries to bench press Kotoski off him but Kotoski keeps the position.
The Fury wants to control but Kotoski postures up.
Kotoski cracks The Fury with a big elbow.
The Fury is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kotoski connects with a decent elbow.

The Fury tries to escape but Kotoski is in control.
The Fury is looking to regain half guard here but Kotoski keeps moving and retains side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kotoski wants to control but The Fury is keeping him busy.
The Fury tries to improve position but can't.

Kotoski stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kotoski.
The Fury looks gassed!

Kotoski decides to stand up, so the ref orders The Fury to his feet.
Kotoski scores with a shot to the body.
Kotoski avoids the body shot from The Fury.
Kotoski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kotoski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Fury paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and The Fury counters with a shoot takedown. Kotoski fights it but they end up in guard.

The Fury drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kotoski looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kotoski looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kotoski!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kotoski working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Kotoski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kotoski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The Fury is not content to let Kotoski control the position.
The Fury struggling a bit here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petrovolinksi Kotoski dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


The Fury changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kotoski tries to avoid it but The Fury manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kotoski to the ground. Kotoski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kotoski lands a head kick. The Fury smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kotoski on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.


It looks like Petrovolinksi Kotoski has been cut.

Kotoski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Fury is fending him off so far but Kotoski persists. Nope, The Fury circles away and we're back to standing.
The Fury throws a lazy head kick
and Kotoski counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. The Fury is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Kotoski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in The Fury's guard now.
Petrovolinksi Kotoski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The Fury has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kotoski doesn't defend quickly enough and The Fury has managed to lock this one up! Can Kotoski escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to The Fury on a fantastic submission victory.
