Schindler comes to the cage accompanied by Lars Vaular - Gi meg noe bass. Smith has chosen Oh Well. as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Schindler.

Schindler throws a lazy right hand but Smith sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Schindler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Schindler shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Smith drops back looking for a leg! Schindler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Schindler manages to kick Smith off! Smith jumps back into Schindler's guard.

Smith decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Schindler, up you get!

Smith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schindler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Smith is working to tighten is grip on Schindler's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Schindler has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Smith is really squeezing tight and eventually Schindler passes out! Smith breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
