Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Horn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy DeBerg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy DeBerg has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Derrick Horn's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBerg tries to close the distance and clinch but Horn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Horn shoots in and bounces DeBerg off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Horn stays in close to DeBerg's body and controls the position.
Horn wants to control from the top but DeBerg keeps moving.

Horn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DeBerg on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
DeBerg shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Horn as he avoids it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Horn is working hard here to advance position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Horn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Horn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
DeBerg can't keep his opponent in guard - Horn advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Horn is looking to take a break and control but DeBerg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

DeBerg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Horn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Horn is working for an americana but DeBerg has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Horn was thinking about the submission.

That was a close second round but I would say that Derrick Horn will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Horn is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. DeBerg can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Derrick Horn.
Well Horn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
