Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Blanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velazquez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cowboys from hell. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blanc has closed the distance and engaged Velazquez in a clinch.

Velazquez seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Blanc takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Blanc tries for a takedown but Velazquez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Velazquez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blanc is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Velazquez pulls his head out easily.
Velazquez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blanc keeps working.
Velazquez is nestled in close to Blanc, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
