Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruffuss Passat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hayato Kitaoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Passat kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is looser by Beck. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kitaoka attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kitaoka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Passat plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Passat misses with a few strikes there.
Passat bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Passat wants to pass the guard but Kitaoka is keeping the position.
Kitaoka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Passat slips nicely into half guard.
Passat thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kitaoka is trying to control but can't.
Kitaoka makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kitaoka.
Passat really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Passat throws a nice looking combination but Kitaoka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Passat pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kitaoka is out of range and Passat settles back down.

Kitaoka drops down looking for an ankle pick but Passat pulls his leg out and moves away.
Passat tries to bum rush Kitaoka with a series of wild strikes but Kitaoka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Passat is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kitaoka has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Passat has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kitaoka has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
