Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Melo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nizoni Auer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melo comes to the cage accompanied by Who let the dogs out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Melo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Auer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Melo has Auer in his guard.
Auer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Melo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Auer defends well.

Melo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Auer sprawls well initially but Melo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Melo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Auer is trying to defend but Melo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Auer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Melo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Melo has hold of Auer's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Auer seems comfortable defending it but Melo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Auer is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Auer is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Melo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
