Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Filip Hais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Lindblad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hais's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dimples by Charlene Choi. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Filip Hais!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andreas Lindblad!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hais rushes Lindblad and presses him up against the cage.
Hais taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Lindblad wants to get back to striking at distance but Hais won't allow it.
Hais prevents Lindblad from breaking the clinch.

Lindblad manages to break the clinch.
Lindblad lands a jab-cross combination.
Hais looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hais circles away from the clinch attempt

and Hais counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Lindblad controls Hais momentarily but Hais frees himself.
Lindblad wants to stand up but Hais is controlling him.
Hais looking to pass the guard.

Lindblad wants to stand up but Hais is controlling him.
Lindblad working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hais.
Hais pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lindblad is keeping the position for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lindblad tries to clinch up

and Hais counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lindblad won't be happy with that.
Lindblad tries to improve position but can't.
Hais wants to control but Lindblad is keeping him busy.
Lindblad wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Lindblad wants to control but Hais postures up.

Hais tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Lindblad is trying to control Hais's posture but Hais avoids it.
Lindblad is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hais's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Lindblad is trying to maintain the position but Hais is very close to passing his half guard.
Lindblad misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Lindblad looks gassed!

Hais is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lindblad doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hais.
Hais stops Lindblad from getting back to his feet.

Hais is working for a kimura but Lindblad is defending it quite comfortably.
Hais is pressing down on Lindblad's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lindblad is holding on for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hais tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lindblad swivels and escapes.
Nice sprawl there from Lindblad as Hais shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Filip Hais. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lindblad tries to clinch

and Hais counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Hais is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lindblad doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hais.
Lindblad pushes Hais off looking to stand but Hais dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hais is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hais seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Filip Hais dominated that round.
That's time! Hais's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Hais decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hais seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lindblad is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
