Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brenton Modano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reptar Buhr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modano darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Modano tries to pass to full mount but Buhr defends it.
Modano is working hard here to advance position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Modano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Buhr swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Buhr closes the distance and clinches up with Modano, looking for a takedown. Buhr pushes Modano against the cage but Modano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Buhr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Modano's waist but Modano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buhr off to one side.

Buhr is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Modano's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Modano accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Modano shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Buhr napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Buhr controls Modano momentarily but Modano frees himself.
Modano throws and elbow that misses. Buhr uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Modano's guard. Nice move by Buhr!
Buhr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Modano looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Modano looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Modano!

Modano pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Modano tries to pass to full mount but Buhr defends it.
Buhr is looking to control Modano's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Buhr avoid being mounted?

That's time! Modano's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Modano closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ground and pound from Modano seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Modano looks up at the clock and then as Buhr takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Modano smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Modano feints and as Buhr raises his hands in defense, Modano changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well Modano has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
