Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaharu Homma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Howard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Masaharu Homma!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard cracks Homma with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Howard lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Masaharu Homma has been cut.
Homma throws a nice inside leg kick.
Howard scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Homma doesn't seem bothered though.
Howard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Homma lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Howard has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Howard and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Homma takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Howard.
Well Howard has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
