Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy DeSouza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuudai Ryuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeSouza comes to the cage accompanied by Randy Manny & The Tools. Ryuu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. HBO Boxing 24/7 Original Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Yuudai Ryuu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ryuu wants the takedown. DeSouza is fighting it off but Ryuu persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in DeSouza's guard against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ryuu drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd cheers as Ryuu lands an impressive looking overhand right. DeSouza doesn't seem phased though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ryuu lands a left and a right that send DeSouza crashing to the mat, dazed. Ryuu thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ryuu lands a nice hook to DeSouza's body. DeSouza takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Nice uppercut lands for Ryuu. That snapped DeSouza's head back.
Ryuu jabs DeSouza right on the nose. DeSouza blinks but takes it well.
DeSouza walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
DeSouza looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
