The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Chris Brown has been cut.
Haywood wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance.
Brown tries to move into range but Haywood moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Haywood throws a series of punches but Brown avoids them all with ease.
Haywood slaps away a takedown attempt from Brown, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Haywood swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Haywood has eaten all the pies!
Haywood fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
Haywood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Haywood works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Chris Brown's cut is getting worse.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Haywood tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Haywood manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Haywood.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haywood takes a swing at Brown's ribcage but misses.
Haywood tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
Nice takedown defense from Haywood. No joy for Brown on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haywood doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.

Haywood lands a left and a right that send Brown crashing to the mat, dazed. Haywood thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chris Brown's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
