Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignacio drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ignacio trying to control the position but Woods is working away.
Ignacio postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ignacio tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ignacio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Woods is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ignacio postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ignacio really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ignacio tries to score with some ground and pound. Woods controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ignacio tries for a kimura but Woods is defending well.
Ignacio looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Woods defending against the ground and pound.
Ignacio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ignacio thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ignacio taking a break here but Woods is having none of it and regains half guard.

Ignacio is looking to advance position but Woods won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ignacio stops Woods from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ignacio is working for a submission of some sort.
Woods wants to control but Ignacio is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Woods scores a nice knee to the body.
Ignacio is breathing heavily.
Ignacio stalling in the clinch but Woods improves position.
Woods breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A punch combination from Woods misses.
Ross Woods is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ignacio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Woods lands with a nice body kick.
Woods throws a right hand that Ignacio ducks under and follows up with a left that Ignacio also avoids with ease.
Woods lands a head kick. Ignacio smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Stav Ignacio has been cut.
Woods throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ignacio crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Woods - the referee stops the clock and Ignacio gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Woods. Ignacio manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Woods lands with a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
BOOM! Woods lands a beautiful left hook that drops Ignacio. Ignacio tries to recover but Woods is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Ignacio lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Woods!
