Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Laudrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Mountbatten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laudrup comes into the arena with Zoo Station blaring out of the sound system. Mountbatten has chosen Last Resort as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laudrup looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Laudrup throws a right and a left that Mountbatten avoids nicely.
Laudrup closes the distance and clinches up with Mountbatten, looking for a takedown. Laudrup pushes Mountbatten against the cage but Mountbatten circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mountbatten swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mountbatten lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Hans Laudrup has been cut.
Mountbatten takes a swing at Laudrup's ribcage but misses.

Mountbatten throws a series of punches but Laudrup avoids them all with ease.
Mountbatten lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mountbatten.
Mountbatten lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Laudrup throws a lazy right hand but Mountbatten sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Laudrup uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mountbatten.
Mountbatten connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mountbatten lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Laudrup missing with a left hand there. Mountbatten was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
William Mountbatten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mountbatten ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Laudrup moves away.
Laudrup swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Laudrup counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mountbatten lands a left and a right that send Laudrup crashing to the mat, dazed. Mountbatten thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Laudrup is rocked!
Laudrup is breathing heavily.
Laudrup bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Mountbatten comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Laudrup falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Laudrup was out before he hit the floor!
