Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jones throws a nice head kick!
Jones misses with a leg kick.
Jones looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jones is looking to score with low kicks.
Jones drops his hands momentarily and Shotokahn takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shotokahn takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Shotokahn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Shotokahn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shotokahn throws out the jab.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shotokahn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jones wants to slow Shotokahn down by chopping away at his legs.

Shotokahn lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jones backs up against the cage.
Jones looks for the body kick but Shotokahn saw that one coming.

Jones throws a low kick, looking for Shotokahn's leg but Shotokahn calmly moves out of range.
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shotokahn.
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Shotokahn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Jones lands with a thumping leg kick.
Shotokahn throws a leg kick but Jones moved away.

and Shotokahn counters with a nice uppercut.
Jones is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Shotokahn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Shotokahn doesn't seem phased though.
Shotokahn is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Shotokahn counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Shotokahn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.

Billy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shotokahn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Shotokahn finish him?
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jones seems to have recovered his senses.
Shotokahn sends Jones crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Shotokahn is motioning to the referee to let Jones up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Shotokahn works Jones's body with a nice hook.
Shotokahn throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Shotokahn connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands.
Shotokahn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Shotokahn feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down.
Shotokahn lands with a hook. Jones tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Good standup being displayed there by Shotokahn as he connects with a hook.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Shotokahn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Shotokahn's corner calls for a 1-2. Shotokahn obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Shotokahn grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Jones takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Shotokahn cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
