Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ferguson drops Thunder with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Thunder looks back up at him and smiles so Ferguson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Thunder tries to move into range but Ferguson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ferguson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ferguson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Ferguson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Thunder sprawling to the canvas! Thunder rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ferguson finish him?!

Thunder throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Ferguson throws a lazy right hand but Thunder sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Thunder takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Ferguson pushes Thunder away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Thunder gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Thunder is trying to ground and pound but Ferguson uses the momentary lack of control by Thunder to regain half guard.
