The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Easton. That's going to slow Lopez down.
Easton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Easton tries to land a front kick but Lopez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A decent looking cross lands there for Easton.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lopez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lopez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Easton dives on top into guard.

Lopez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Easton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Easton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lopez is breathing heavily.
Easton wanted to stand there but Lopez had control of the position.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Easton.
Easton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A combination from Easton does no damage.
Easton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Easton lands a big head kick that sends Lopez tumbling to the mat! Easton takes a step backwards and waves Lopez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Thiago Lopez has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Easton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lopez.

Lopez has Easton pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Easton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Easton throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lopez colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Easton as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lopez is left battered and dazed whilst Easton and his camp cheer!
