Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guntur Llaripukinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maxwell drives through with a takedown into guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Llaripukinen throws a hook to the side of Maxwell's head but Maxwell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maxwell misses with a takedown attempt - Llaripukinen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Llaripukinen throws a looping overhand right but Maxwell ducks down to avoid it.

Llaripukinen parries the strikes from Maxwell easily there. Maxwell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Llaripukinen to escape.

Maxwell decides to stand back up. Maxwell steps back and let's Llaripukinen get back to his feet.

Maxwell has closed the distance and engaged Llaripukinen in a clinch.

Maxwell jumps guard and drags Llaripukinen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Maxwell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Llaripukinen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Llaripukinen is keen to just control but Maxwell is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Llaripukinen connects with the punch.

It looks like Ross Maxwell has been cut.
Llaripukinen lands a two punch combo.

Llaripukinen drops Maxwell with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Maxwell looks back up at him and smiles so Llaripukinen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Maxwell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Llaripukinen throws out the jab.

Maxwell is rocked!
BOOM! Llaripukinen lands a beautiful left hook that drops Maxwell. Maxwell tries to recover but Llaripukinen is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Maxwell lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
