Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fernandes leaves Face with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Face has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fernandes clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fernandes has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Face has Fernandes flattened out and is raining down punches.

Face lands a shot to the body.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Face is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Face gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Face gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Face apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Fernandes wants to clinch up but Face keeps it at a distance.

Fernandes lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Face sprawling to the canvas. Fernandes follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Face hang on?

It looks like Murder Face has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fernandes scores with a big shot! Face's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Face! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
