Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marc Montes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Tsavackis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Montes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy Tsavackis!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsavackis throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Montes takes a kick to the side of the head.


It looks like Marc Montes has been cut.

Montes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tsavackis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Montes scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tsavackis wants to get back to his feet.

Montes wants to work for an arm triangle but Tsavackis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Tsavackis takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Tsavackis is pushing Montes's head away, looking to escape. Montes manages to hold on to the position though.

Montes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tsavackis sprawls well. Tsavackis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Montes gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marc Montes.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Montes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
