The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Vega dives in and grabs Hurter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hurter pushes down on Vega's head and hops out.
Hurter digs a good hook to Vega's body.
Hurter is looking to land body kicks.
Hurter misses with a series of wild punches.
Hurter misses the jab.
Hurter throws a right hand that Vega ducks under and follows up with a left that Vega also avoids with ease.
Vega checks a leg kick.
Hurter misses with a two punch combination.

Hurter missing with a left hand there. Vega was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Vega closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hurter circles away.
Hurter loads up on a big right hand but Vega slips the punch.

Vega changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hurter tries to avoid it but Vega manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hurter to the ground. Hurter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hater Hurter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julito Vega.
Hurter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vega fails with the takedown.
Hurter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Vega tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hurter swivels and escapes.
Hurter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vega backs up against the cage.

Hurter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hurter wants it to stay on the feet.
Vega will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hurter throws a series of punches but Vega avoids them all with ease.

The crowd cheers as Hurter lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vega doesn't seem phased though.

Hurter throws a hook to the side of Vega's head but Vega sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hurter drops Vega with a beautiful combination! Vega stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hurter is looking for the KO!

Vega is rocked!
Hurter lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Vega can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Hurter and Vega drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Hurter.
