Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shoryu Ken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sober. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ken looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

King fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ken manages to avoid it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ken is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and King defends well.

Ken bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ken has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nikolai King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ken has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Ken's legs - danger averted.

Ken has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. King doesn't defend quickly enough and Ken has managed to lock this one up! Can King escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ken on a fantastic submission victory.
