The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Bailey does no damage.
Bailey works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A right-left combo lands from Bailey.
Umberto avoids a kick to the body.
Bailey throws a series of punches but Umberto moves out of range.
Bailey misses with a jab, cross combination.
Umberto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bailey closes the distance and clinches.

Umberto decides to pull guard.
Umberto is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Umberto looking for a sweep. Not yet Umberto, not yet.

Umberto pushes Bailey off and gets back to his feet.
Bailey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bailey's corner calls for a 1-2. Bailey obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Bailey darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bailey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bailey throws a right hand that Umberto ducks under and follows up with a left that Umberto also avoids with ease.
Bailey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Umberto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Umberto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bailey throws a big right hand that misses.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Umberto holds on and takes a little breather.
Bailey is working Umberto over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bailey keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Umberto's head.
Umberto keeping moving, preventing Bailey from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bailey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Umberto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Umberto is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bailey has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bailey!
Umberto is pulling down on Bailey's head. It's preventing any offense from Bailey, at least for the moment.
Umberto utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bailey distracts Umberto with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Umberto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bailey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Umberto is tightening it up a little... Bailey has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bailey reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bailey taps out! nice BJJ there by Umberto!
