The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamuh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Old Papi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Old Papi checks a low kick from Mamuh.
Mamuh is looking to clinch.
Old Papi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Mamuh clinches.
Old Papi has Mamuh pressed against the cage, preventing Mamuh from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Old Papi managing to block the knees to the body from Mamuh.

Mamuh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mamuh tries to clinch up but Old Papi circles away and keeps his distance.
Mamuh doesn't manage to clinch there - Old Papi circles away.
Joe Mamuh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mamuh wants to clinch up but Old Papi keeps it at a distance.
Old Papi stalks Mamuh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mamuh's face. Mamuh staggers backwards, shaken.
Mamuh on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Old Papi lands a jab to the nose.
Donk. Old Papi catches Mamuh right on the button with a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Old Papi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mamuh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mamuh misses with a double jab
and Old Papi counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Old Papi throws a leg kick
and Mamuh cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Old Papi drops Mamuh with a beautiful combination! Mamuh stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Old Papi is looking for the KO!

Mamuh is rocked!

It looks like Joe Mamuh has been cut.

Old Papi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mamuh. That did some damage!
Mamuh is breathing heavily.
