Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mikael Van Ironfist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Jerabek!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jerabek dodges the punch combination from Van Ironfist.
Van Ironfist wants to clinch.

and Van Ironfist counters with a left to the body.
Jerabek takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jerabek is looking to clinch but Van Ironfist is avoiding it.
Jerabek shoots in for a takedown but Van Ironfist shows good takedown defense.
Van Ironfist connects with a single shot there.
Van Ironfist drops Jerabek with a right and a left! Van Ironfist comes rushing in but Jerabek regains his composure and manages to keep Van Ironfist in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Van Ironfist postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jerabek seems to have recovered his senses.

Jerabek had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Van Ironfist defends it easily.

Van Ironfist is working Jerabek over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Van Ironfist lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Van Ironfist with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Van Ironfist stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jerabek swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Van Ironfist postures up and lands a big shot to Jerabek's brow.
Jerabek wants to stand and escape but Van Ironfist is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Van Ironfist distracts Jerabek with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Van Ironfist decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jerabek, up you get!
Van Ironfist lands a nice hook to Jerabek's body. Jerabek takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Van Ironfist throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jerabek on the side of the head.

Van Ironfist closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Van Ironfist pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jerabek closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Van Ironfist misses with a two punch combination.

Jerabek shoots in looking for a takedown. Van Ironfist tries to sprawl out of it but Jerabek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Van Ironfist manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Van Ironfist lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Van Ironfist will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Van Ironfist lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Van Ironfist scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Van Ironfist throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Jerabek colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Van Ironfist as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Jerabek is left battered and dazed whilst Van Ironfist and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikael Van Ironfist!
