Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zeke Acacia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michio Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Suzuki's choice of entrance music: Dragonball Z Theme. Michio Suzuki is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Zeke Acacia!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michio Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki scores with a jab to the jaw.
Suzuki misses with a wild body shot.
Acacia takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Acacia, right into the meat.
Michio Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suzuki throws a looping overhand right but Acacia ducks down to avoid it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Acacia.
Acacia buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Acacia tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Suzuki shoots in but no luck this time.
Acacia really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Suzuki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Acacia manages to avoid it.

It looks like Michio Suzuki has been cut.
Suzuki throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Acacia on the side of the head.

Acacia lands a big head kick that sends Suzuki tumbling to the mat! Acacia takes a step backwards and waves Suzuki back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Suzuki scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Acacia doesn't seem bothered though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Good leg kick by Acacia there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Acacia throws a series of punches but Suzuki moves out of range.

Suzuki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Acacia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suzuki on the ground.
Acacia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Suzuki's guard.
Suzuki lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Acacia!

That was a close second round but I would say that Zeke Acacia will probably get the nod.

Suzuki is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Acacia defends well.

Suzuki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Acacia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Acacia walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Suzuki checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Suzuki fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Suzuki tries to close the distance and clinch but Acacia swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Suzuki tries to clinch up.
Acacia lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Acacia.

Acacia feints and then cracks Suzuki's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Suzuki down.
Suzuki closes the distance and clinches up with Acacia, looking for a takedown. Suzuki pushes Acacia against the cage but Acacia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Acacia throws a right and a left that both miss.
