Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marin Petric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marin Petric was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson slips a straight right by Petric.
Petric throws a shot from downtown. Jackson moves away and avoids it.
Petric thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jackson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Petric is out of range and Jackson settles back down.
Petric lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Ben Jackson has been cut.
Petric misses with a series of wild punches.
Petric with a jab.
Petric tries to clinch but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jackson dips to his left and cracks Petric with an uppercut!
Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Petric tries to clinch there but Jackson circles away.
The crowd cheers as Jackson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Petric doesn't seem phased though.

Jackson moves out of range as Petric strikes.
Petric thows a left - swing and a miss!
Petric misses with a body punch
and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Petric throws a right hand that Jackson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jackson also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petric misses with a double jab
and Jackson counters with a straight right hand.
Nice defenses there by Jackson.
Petric looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Petric throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Marin Petric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Petric loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch.
Petric misses with a combination
and Petric takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Petric looks gassed!
Petric shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petric moves away.
Jackson moves away from the strike by Petric.
Jackson lands a head shot.
Petric looks to land a left hand but Jackson moved out of range nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson cracks Petric with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Petric pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Petric takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Petric is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Jackson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Petric thinking.
Jackson works Petric's body with a nice hook.
Jackson jabs at Petric's body.
A jab lands there for Jackson.
Petric is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Petric looks up at the clock. Bad move! Jackson lands a right hand from hell, dropping Petric. Jackson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Jackson!
