Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Beardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beardwood kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Opeth - The Grand Conjuration. John Chapman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beardwood dips to his left and cracks Chapman with an uppercut!
It looks like John Chapman has been cut.
Chapman is looking to clinch.
Beardwood lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chapman throws a series of punches but Beardwood moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chapman throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Beardwood stands up over Chapman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Beardwood is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nice combo by Beardwood! Oh, that's hurt him - Chapman falls to the canvas and Beardwood follows him into side control.
Chapman is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
A big shot lands for Beardwood! That's hurt Chapman! Will he recover? Beardwood fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
