Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Syndrome throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shadows.

Shadows lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shadows.
Shadows throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Syndrome's waist but Syndrome gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shadows off to one side.

Syndrome tries to free his leg and advance position but Shadows is retaining full guard.
Shadows bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Syndrome's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shadows working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Syndrome doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Syndrome manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Shadows really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
