The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shackleford swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shackleford kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Shackleford, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Shackleford against the cage but Shackleford circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Shackleford clobbers Jones with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
