Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bodybag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgio Jacques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bodybag is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodybag swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bodybag is breathing heavily.
Jacques drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jacques showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Jacques trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Bodybag being controlled here, momentarily.
Jacques throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bodybag works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jacques is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Jacques thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jacques is looking to work some ground and pound but Bodybag has wrist control.

Jacques drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jacques jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

I looks like Jacques might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Bodybag looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jacques slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jacques in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bodybag tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jacques!
