The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Decent striking displayed by Ahriman there.
Thomas shoots in but Ahriman avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Thomas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Thomas lands in his opponent's guard.
Ahriman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Magnus Ahriman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ahriman punishes Thomas's body with a nice straight punch.
Ahriman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thomas sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Thomas misses with a looping left.

Ahriman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thomas moves away.
Thomas throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ahriman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Thomas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ahriman tries to avoid it but Thomas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ahriman to the ground. Ahriman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ahriman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thomas's head backwards.
Thomas avoids the body shot from Ahriman.
Thomas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ahriman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ahriman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Thomas throws a nice looking combination but Ahriman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ahriman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ahriman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Thomas has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Thomas there as he acknowledges the shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thomas. Ahriman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ahriman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Ahriman gets caught flat footed, as Thomas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Thomas has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ahriman to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Thomas is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ahriman pulls down on the head and he's put Thomas to sleep! This one is all over!
